Albanian Olive Pickers - by John Singer Sargent

Recently I purchased a book on John Singer Sargent, the great american oil painter of the late 19th and early 20th century. I have always admired his work in oil and watercolor and while doing some additional research on his work, I was happy to discover that he has done a painting of Albanian theme!

The painting is called Albanian Olive Pickers, and it was painted in 1909.
